Day 1: Departure by train . Check- in Barletta – Station . Accommodation in 4 * In the afternoon we recommend a visit to the ” City of the Challenge ” and the major places of interest include Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore and Castello Svevo. Dinner in restaurant with wine tasting ” Road Castel del Monte .” Overnight . Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel , we recommend a visit to Castel del Monte , the mysterious octagonal castle of Frederick II declared a World Heritage Site. Continue to Ruvo di Puglia , to visit the Cathedral and the Jatta Museum , which houses a magnificent collection of classic vessels including one depicting the death of Thalos mythical guardian of Crete. Lunch in a restaurant with tasting of typical local dishes. In the afternoon departure for Trani , and visit the Cathedral , a masterpiece of Apulian Romanesque style. Walking through narrow streets and historic buildings to reach the Castello Svevo , one of the finest examples of fortifications built by Frederick II of Swabia. Dinner at the restaurant with fish . Overnight . Day 3: Breakfast and departure for Bari , visit the Basilica of Saint Nicholas , a prototype of Apulian Romanesque churches , religious monument of great importance and place of worship of the Orthodox Church . Walking through the alleys of the old city visiting the Castello Svevo . At the end , free time for shopping. Lunch. Transfer to the station for the return.
