“Festa Maggiore”,  is a spectacular moment dedicated to the celebration of the Holy icon of Madonna di Sovereto in  Terlizzi (Ba). it is the moment of the Triumphal Cart carrying the painting of the Madonna di Sovereto, that moves along the streets of the town center, pushed by the force of sixty men, in the emotional participation of the crowd. 

Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon in a hotel in Bari area by their own means. We recommend a visit to Alberobello: the fairytale capital of the trulli. A picturesque walk between the characteristic buildings in local stone. Dinner in restaurant / hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Breakfast at hotel. Free visit of Bari. During the evening, we recommend participation in religious celebrations and events organized on the occasion of the Feast of Major Terlizzi, including the famous “triumphal”, greeted by a cheering crowd in the streets of the city to the Cathedral .
When finished, return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Breakfast at the Hotel. End of services.
