Putignano Carnival
Putignano in Puglia is known all over the world as the apulian town of Carnival. Putignano Carnival is famous for the spectacular parade of papier-mache floats. In the last ten years the carnival has become famous thanks to the enormous floats, the original satirical masks and the colourful masked groups.
Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon in the hotel in Bari area by their own means. We recommend a visit to Alberobello: the fabled capital of the trulli. A walk among the impressive features stone buildings Dinner at local restaurant / hotel and overnight
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. Free visit of Putignano. Participation in the event of the Carnival of Putignano, including masks of tradition and parades that take your breath away. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. We suggest the visit of the Matera, a city among the oldest in the world whose territory contains evidence of human settlement from the Paleolithic. Matera and its “Sassi” have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Lunch in a typical restaurant. End of services.
